Motorhomes

A motorhome is defined as an RV that includes its own drive train, providing a complete package without the need for a tow vehicle. Each motorhome is equipped with essential amenities for comfortable camping, and you'll find an extensive range of both luxury and economical options across all categories.

Class A Motorhomes

Class A motorhomes are the largest type, built on the chassis of a commercial bus or truck. Ranging from 30 to 45 feet in length, these expansive RVs typically feature multiple slide-outs for added space when parked. They also offer the highest interior clearance among motorhomes, making them suitable for taller individuals.

Class B Motorhomes

The smallest of the three classes, Class B motorhomes, also known as camper vans, are built on a van-like chassis. These compact RVs are designed for one or two travelers, making them perfect for solo adventurers.

  • Fuel Efficiency: Class B motorhomes offer the best fuel economy of all motorhome types.

  • Maneuverability: Their compact size allows for easy navigation of narrow streets and parking in tight spaces.

While they may lack some features found in larger models—such as slide-outs and full kitchens—the benefits of lower maintenance and affordability make Class B vans a great choice for couples or singles seeking quick weekend getaways.

Class C Motorhomes

Class C motorhomes fall in the mid-size category, built on a truck chassis and measuring between 21 ft. to 33 ft. long. A distinctive feature of Class C motorhomes is the separate driving cab from the living area, along with a cabover bunk that provides a loft-like sleeping space.

  • Balance of Features: Class C motorhomes offer a good combination of size, price, and fuel efficiency.

  • Capacity: They can typically accommodate four to eight passengers, providing spacious interiors while remaining easy to handle.

Many Class C models also allow for towing an additional vehicle during your camping adventures.

Fifth Wheels

Fifth wheels share similarities with travel trailers, but they feature a unique hitching system that attaches to the bed floor of a pickup truck. This design creates a more secure connection, making maneuvering easier.

  • Strength and Durability: The higher weight capacity of fifth wheel hitches allows for more robust construction compared to travel trailers.
